Big Book: Lily in the city

Our individual task for English is to create a big story book and then go to a nursery or a kindergarten to do a story telling with it.

Me being me, getting all excited to start doing the big book because yall knoww i likeee doing artsy stuffffss huheuhekkk

Before we start doing our big book, we have to show our big book draft to our lecturer.

Our story must be originally written, no grammar mistakes, and not more than 10 sentences.

Alhamdulillah, my story was approved hihi. 

Went to buy the huge boards, coloured papers, felt cloth etc etc and it all costs me about RM70.

I put my heart, soul, money and time for this big book, cehh.
I did everything from scratch sebab kalau nak print, hmmm duit lagi.

The most challenging thing was to write, cut and paste the words for the story ONE BY ONE.
Pishang teroxx.

Boleh je write the sentences and paste it using just one paper but nooope, it hurts my eyes hahaha acah je lowlz. So sanggup la susahkan diri untuk kepuasan hati huhu.
Other than that, I enjoyed doing it and I'm really satisfied with the result :')

The finishing touch was to make a hole, and tie the boards together.

Tapi puncher pula hilang #%^&*!!

My mom pagi pagi buta ambil paku and hammer to make a hole on the boards hahaha thank you mama saranghaeyo!!!

So this is my big book a.k.a my masterpiece, *puts on shades* from the cover until the last page.

Big book, checked.
Next we have to go to a nursery/kindergarten to do the story telling.
Since its already in November, most of  the kindergartens already started cuti so I went to a nursery (Taska Cahaya Hikmah) with my friend Nana.
We took turns to do our story telling, Nana did hers first which makes me more nervous (padahal depan budak budak je hahaha)
We're both nervous at first but luckily the kids enjoyed it and gave great responses even though some of them don't understand English. 
It was a great experience and I had so much fun!!!
And a huge thanks to Taska Cahaya Hikmah kerana sudi menerima kehadiran kami :)
We had to record our story telling as proof that we did it but I'm too shy to post it here huheuehueuehheue halalkan jela ek.

Kelas atas talian

Second sem started 3 weeks ago and I went to college on 24th october, which was my mom's birthday and the day where my mom's car broke down, keluar asap, when we're on our way to my college.
Cuak gila guys but alhamdulillah kebetulan ada polis dekat tepi jalan tengah settlekan another broke down car and they helped us.
Oh and pakcik polis tu yang hantarkan I pergi kolej hihi naik lorry towing kereta beb.
Thank you pakcik polis!

So because of that I was 30 minutes late to college but Nana was being a good friend, waited for me at the lobby. Awh. (Sebenarnya dia pun lambat lepastu takut nak naik atas sorang sorang)
Bila dah naik atas, tengok dalam hall, peh ramai beb, masuk masuk semua pandang ekekeke.
When we came in, it was in a middle of a briefing about online classes thats going to be held this sem.
Saya dan Nana pun blur, baru sampai kan.
After the briefing ended, we asked our classmates about it.
And yass, online class, we don't need to come to college, yass.

At first I still don't understand how's this online class works but then our lecturer explained it again to us and ok, fahammm.
Untuk one month je online class ni, after 24th November, classes will be held as usual at college.
The attendence for the online class is based on the actual schedule, for example, on the schedule I have BIG (bina insan guru) class on Monday, 8.30 a.m, so I have to sign in into easyclass.com (its a website for online classes) on Monday, 8.30 a.m.
Attendence, discussion, notes, assignment,quizes, etc, semua buat dalam tu.
Cool right? Cool bukan sebab kelas online, cool sebab on Monday, 8.30 a.m, I attend class without having to take a shower or get out of bed hahahahahaha jealous la tu.

We meet up with our lecturer only on Tuesdays. Untuk lepas rindu je, ihik.
Already got our assignments. Menggunung tapi saya masih tenang hehe.
Tips untuk tak stress bila buat assignment is to enjoy it hahahaha jangan kecam saya.
And buatlah awal, your future self will thank you.

Why ECE

Why early childhood education?

I like kids and babies in general, and I found it interesting to learn about them.

How to interact, how to educate, how to handle them in specific situations.

To know their personalities, passion and to simply watch them grow to be a decent human being.

On my second day of college, my lecturer asks each one of us why we took this course and there are some interesting reasons. One of them was from Kak Hajar, she said that she wanted to show people that this course isn't just to learn how to clean babies poops. Because there are people who looked down on this course and questioning how can you be successful by only become a kindergarden teacher? She wanted to prove that by taking this course, we can be successful too and without a proper education on raising a child, it can cause a lot of damage for our future generations.

Ha amacam? Hihihi.

We all cheered for Kak Hajar and our spirits was booming through the roof!

It is true how some people looked down on this course.

For the first month of college, I had to book a grabcar everyday for two weeks to go home, and because of my college's name was obvious that the students are taking ECE course, the conversation between me and the grabcar drivers are always about ECE.

Some are very very supportive, they kept praising me and all.

Tapi ada sorang dua yang gelak.

Ye. GELAK. Like "hahaha" gelak.

"Ni belajar pendidikan awal kanak kanak la eh? Hahaha belajar apa je? Basuh berak?"

You imagine, I just went through a whole day of class and I was so tired and then I have to face with this douchebag.

I kept silent, and right after I reached home, I rated the driver one star and commented "rude" hahaha padan muka siapa suruh kacau aku eeee geram!

Its a big deal okay. 

Basuh berak pun kena cara betul nanti melecet macam mana? Hahaha sis masih geram.

At the end, we have to deal with kids. 

Kena didik cara betul, nak bentuk seorang manusia berguna bukan semudah kau stack batu bata untuk bentuk satu bangunan.

Its a bonus also for me because I will have my own child one day (ihiks, berpandangan jauh bukan?) and by learning all these stuff will eventually help me to have a proper knowledge on how to raise my own child. InsyaAllah.

So, what are my plans for the future?

I'm planning on opening my own nursery or kinderganten. Still can't choose which one but hopefully the path gets brighter after this journey of diploma.

I'm back!

It kills me how I skipped a whole year without updating anything here. 

Its like I'm back from the dead hahaha.

No worries, I'm still alive and living the remaining 3 months of 2017.

Yup. 2017 is gonna end in 3 months & how's my life has been? 

Here's all the updates of my life from the beginning of 2017

Unemployed & broke

Hey, I DID searched for a job after SPM ended okay. But I'm so cerewet....

Got 2 out of 5 jobs that I applied but I didnt go because of personal reasons muehaha jangan marah!

SPM & UPU result

The unexpected 4 A-'s and 1 A in my SPM slip made me shook. Alhamdulillah, it's more than enough for me. My mom, the one who pushed me towards my class teacher because I was getting forever to be ready to take my result. I miss that moment and I miss school, I miss my friends, I miss school life 

*cries*

I decided that I want to pursue my studies in Early Childhood Education. 

The only university that has that course for diploma is UPSI so I applied it along with 7 other courses which I picked recklessly huhu. 

So when the results are out, I didn't get the course that I want but instead, I got Computer Science at Uitm Segamat.

Berhuhuhu saya ketika itu.

I declined the offer. 

Masa ni semua nak salty salty dengan aku eh 

"kenapa tak terima? bukan semua orang dapat" "sayangnya, universiti tu wey" "asal do kau ni apak ah gila ah" 

Alasan aku satu je, tak minat. I already studied the stuff that I wasnt into masa sekolah so can you let me live my life? Ni nak marah ni ha

So I ended up in Kolej Perkembangan Awal Kanak-Kanak at Damansara Damai. Yup, the college has only one course that is Early Childhood Education hihi saya suka!

While waiting for college to start...

My first class for college was on 24th July. In June, I worked part time at Shah Alam Convention Centre for their Ramadhan Buffet which was only for a month.

So I guess thats it? January till May was a total vain and I have a feeling that October would join the club as I'm on sem break right now and I have no idea what to do at home smh
